Clomiphene Citrate VS Enclomiphene Citrate and Why Enclomiphene is Better For TRT

Clomiphene is a medication that can boost natural testosterone production. Enclomiphene has less adverse effects than clomiphene, making it a better alternative for TRT-using males seeking to have children.

Clomiphene citrate and enclomiphene citrate are both commonly used drugs to stimulate the production of testosterone in men. They do this by inhibiting the action of estrogen on the testicles, which in turn causes them to generate more testosterone. Both clomiphene citrate and enclomiphene citrate are widely available as generic medications.

The only real difference is that enclomiphene citrate is significantly more expensive than clomiphene citrate, and there’s no evidence that one is better than the other for TRT. In this article, we will explain what enclomiphene citrate is, how it differs from clomiphene, and why you should choose enclomiphene over clomiphene for your TRT.

How Does Enclomiphene Differ From Clomiphene?

Enclomiphene and clomiphene are both hormone medications that are used to treat low testosterone levels in men. They both contain the same active ingredient, but enclomiphene and clomiphene are produced differently.

Clomiphene is often used in low-T therapy, as it can help boost testosterone naturally by inhibiting estrogen. The good side effects of Clomiphene include improvements in both libido and testosterone levels. If you are currently experiencing low testosterone, a dose of Clomiphene is likely to improve your levels to normal.

On the other hand, Enclomiphene is only one of two isomers in this drug. Enclomiphene is a non-steroidal anti-estrogen that has a lower risk of adverse effects such as mood changes and weight gain.

One of the major differences between enclomiphene and clomiphene is the dosing schedule. While clomiphene is usually taken daily, enclomiphene is taken every second day. This means it can be taken along with another medicine called FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). FSH is an injectable drug which is given daily.

Another difference is that enclomiphene stays in the body longer than clomiphene. This means it has a slower onset of action, but also longer lasting effects.

Why Enclomiphene is Better Than Clomiphene For TRT

Clomiphene will deter luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, which will result in the production of testosterone. However, it will not inhibit estrogen, which can cause negative side effects. Enclomiphene will impede estrogen, and that in turn can help reduce the side effects caused by clomiphene while still producing testosterone.

Bottom Line

Clomiphene is an oral medication that can be used as part of a third-line test-retest approach to increase the likelihood of natural testosterone assembly. Enclomiphene is less likely to cause side effects than clomiphene, so it’s a more viable option for men already on TRT who are trying to have children.
